Hey.

At the time of writing, It's January 1st of 2025, New Years day.

I don't usually write anything for new years or whatever, but I figured that this year should be different because I actually want to get things done this year and be consistent for once

I want this year to be different somehow. I'm also in the mood today, so lets get started on what I plan on doing this year.

For starters, games.

For games, I don't really have much planned. I'm still just working on Super Boiboi 2 (which I semi-frequently post updates on Game Jolt), and that's probably just gonna be all that I work on this year. I'm an (admittedly) really slow worker, so I just don't what to waste time working on new projects that'll probably never come out anyways.

though now's probably a really bad time to say that, because I just dropped a new game like a week ago lol.

"A MeeseVenture Christmas" is exactly what it sounds like it is. It's a new game in the MeeseVenture series and it's about another Meese trying to save Christmas after the events of the last game. I figured I'd make something for the holidays, and it's built off the same engine I had for Boiboi 2, so it wasn't that hard to make, and even has scrolling.

I only posted it on Game Jolt, so views are not very good, but I'm happy at what I made.

Can't post on Scratch or Newgrounds because of TW extensions and NG's strict rules on unoriginal music.

Of course, I haven't actually tested it post launch, and there are probably a truckload of bugs that make me want to commit petty crimes, so I haven't actually released any patches yet, unusual for me.

Still, I recommend you go and play the game, it's pretty silly and has a.... shocking ending...To say the least, lmao.

There's also everything else I do. Comics, art, etc. You know the drill. I've actually done really well with that last year (at least compared to previous years) I started drawing more often, and sometimes I even posted it! Definitely biased to here on Game Jolt since it's the easiest site the post to out of the 3 I have, Though I did sometimes post to NG.

I really want to improve that this year, having art and general posts come out on all three accounts at once instead just one or two of them.

Don't expect that much more from Scratch since I don't like censoring myself for the stupid kiddie site anymore. Not the mention they keep unleashing the Ban Hammer on me only to unblock me later (it happened a couple times after the first time)

It really stinks that I've outgrown Scratch, considering it was the start of the whole Danyo/Donyarcade series That I've been building for years, but oh well. I'm too old for Scratch lol.

(The site, not the programming language. I don't think I'll ever get over that.)

Anyways, for comics, things are going steady! DP comics is still dead, unfortunately, but the series I teased earlier, Dimitri, is going strong with new posts every couple of weeks or so since November.

I don't know If I have enough comics right now to justify a compilation, though. Maybe in February or something. Don't quote me on that.

Overall, this year I just want to keep doing more or less the same things but consistently. Both in my real life and my Internet one. I guess that's easy to say now that I'm on break and don't HAVE anything better to do, but we'll see.

2024 was horrible for me, so maybe 2025 will be better.

Doubt it, though.

A MeeseVenture Christmas was a game I started on December 1st and finished just in time for Christmas. It's pretty much just MeeseVenture, only with side-scrolling levels and new stage gimmicks. Totally non canon lol.

It has unoriginal music so I didn't post it here. You can play on Game Jolt though.

These are some screenshots for my upcoming game, MeeseVenture.

Simple screen-to-screen platformer, Time attack and extras modes, original soundtrack, and cute visuals!

Developed in Turbowarp. Coming out early next year.

Blow 'em Away is out! I was orginally going to upload the game here on Newgrounds but I don't wanna deal with the "copyrighted music" garbage so I'll just link the Game Jolt version, which I released earlier this week

Enjoy!

I'm glad to announce Blow 'em Away, a small game I made that's actually a remake of an older game.

Coming out in a couple of days! (More info in article)

Blow 'em Away is a score based arcadelike shooter with a twist: You can't actually shoot anything. You must use the Hankhonkerâ„¢ (an airhorn) to push enemies into oncoming cars.

You play as Josh, who must fight his way through enemies the only way he knows how. Using an airhorn.

Coming very soon! Find me on Gamejolt
